Neighborhood-wide CTF

Boing Boing reports about a Neighborhood-wide Capture the Flag in NYC. I’m not sure how it’ll work, but it seems like an excellent idea. 
I’d imagine it’s not quite as close to your typical Quake-style shoot’em’up Capture The Flag… If anybody knows how this works, let me know!
